Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Twenty Two Taphouse Ltd. DBA Twenty Two Taphouse. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with at least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or bar. You will be responsible for training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that all kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained.

This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week. The salary for this role is approximately $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Maintain a high level of quality control

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in culinary arts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
