Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning customers.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
