We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at SAMAYRA FOODS INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
- Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other support personnel, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
