Position Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our team in eastern Ontario. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the execution of menu item production, maintaining all company standards, and adhering to safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, pre-cook, cook, and present menu items in a timely fashion, following standardized recipes.
  • Prepare mis en place and other products as required for high-volume production.
  • Receive stock from Receiving Operations, label, date, store, and rotate in appropriate storage areas.
  • Clean culinary equipment after use and/or remove soiled equipment to the dish pit.
  • Assist with month-end inventories as directed.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements:
  • Enrollment or completion of Culinary education, Culinary Apprentice Program, or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Minimum 1 year culinary experience preferred.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
  • High School Diploma.
