About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Manager, Agreements. This role will play a central part in establishing and maintaining third-party agreements for the Department of Community Services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agreement management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement development. They will be responsible for leading the Agreement Management team and working closely with program areas to create service level agreements that reduce risk and maximize outcomes for the Department and its participants.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Liaise with program area team members to build efficient funding agreements.
  • Supervise, review, create, and communicate new agreements, responding to feedback and incorporating changes in future assignments.
  • Evaluate draft documents against requirements and assess their appropriateness.
  • Document existing processes and identify options for improvement.
  • Work with the Agreement team to maintain a reliable database for generating meaningful reporting.
  • Contribute expertise at meetings, workshops, and other supporting activities.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have progressive people leadership experience, along with experience in the legal and/or accounting sectors. They will be a collaborative team player with proficient skills in Microsoft programs and Adobe or PDF Editor. They will also be an excellent mentor, with a focus on developing and supporting team members to achieve their full potential.
