Lead a High-Performing Ramp Team
As a Duty Manager at AGI Canadian Company, you will oversee the daily operations of our ramp team, ensuring seamless aircraft handling and efficient ground handling services. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest level of safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct ramp team members in aircraft handling, loading, and unloading.
- Develop and manage schedules to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to hire and train new team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and management, resolving issues promptly.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Oversee GSE maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with AGI and airline standards.
- Read and interpret aircraft loading instructions, hazardous materials labels, and other critical documents.
- Identify and report business opportunities to station management.
- Assist with ramp team duties as needed, including safety walks and baggage handling.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with team members and customers.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, carry heavy items, and work in various weather conditions.
