Ramp Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned team leader looking to take your career to new heights? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ramp Duty Manager to join our team at Alliance Ground International (AGI).
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct the work of ramp team members to ensure seamless aircraft handling and loading operations.
- Create and manage schedules to guarantee adequate staffing for all ramp operations, minimizing delays and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to identify and hire top talent, providing on-the-job training and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and management, resolving issues and ensuring prompt communication to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Enforce all AGI and airline safety regulations, as well as company policies, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee GSE maintenance procedures to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, and aircraft loading manifests to ensure accurate and safe loading practices.
- Identify and report potential business opportunities to station management, contributing to the growth and success of AGI.
- Assist with ramp team duties, including safety walks, baggage/cargo handling, aircraft servicing, and safely operating GSE around aircraft, as needed.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.
- Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basis.
- Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
- Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
- Work outside in various weather conditions and around jet and machinery noises.
