Job Overview

The Respiratory Therapist is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory assessments and management plans for patients with respiratory conditions.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal respiratory health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough respiratory assessments and develop management plans for patients with respiratory conditions
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Manage and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance respiratory care services
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Therapy
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Membership in CSRT/RTSO
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary healthcare team environment
