Agricultural Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to join our team at GoodLeaf Farms. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of our farm, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the farm, including safety, quality, and production processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize farm performance, leveraging expertise in lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Provide direction and oversight to all manufacturing functions, including safety, coordination of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Define performance metrics and coordinate with the QA Department to ensure quality control testing.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving continuous performance improvement and accountability.
- Identify and mitigate risk to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to regulatory and SQF requirements.
- 10+ years of experience leading high-growth production operations in a food processing and/or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in production processes and techniques, quality systems, safety standards, safety compliance, and maintenance.
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with proficiency in developing talent.
- Demonstrated performance in use of analytics and development of software-based performance metrics.
- Experience in a new facility launch and/or startup is highly preferred.
