Financial Planning Specialist

This position will support the Vehicle Pricing, Forecast/Brand Reporting, and Retail Incentives teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing special projects to improve process efficiency
  • Conducting competitive pricing analysis to inform business decisions
  • Assisting with retail incentive auditing and costing
  • Analyzing data to identify potential profit opportunities or risks
  • Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Liaising between teams to ensure seamless operations
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, preferably a financial background, and experience with Microsoft Excel/Power BI

What you will learn:

  • Developing the skills and confidence to present information to senior management
  • Demonstrating accuracy and completeness in work
  • Problem solving by questioning data, identifying issues, and presenting solutions
  • Effective communication and liaison skills
  • Knowledge of profit forecasting and variance analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have recently completed their studies
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet internal deadlines
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Energetic, ambitious, and motivated individual
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
