Pharmacist - Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at FreshCo. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patient expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient counseling and education on new therapies, tailoring to the needs and concerns of each patient.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation to ensure seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience.
- Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health and wellness services to all patients.
- Actively engage in all areas of pharmacy operations to ensure prescription safety and prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments; attend training as required.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, Company policies, processes, and procedures (e.g., OHS, Loss Prevention, CQI).
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility.
- Injection and First Aid Certification.
- Kroll software experience is preferred.
