New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Strategic Implementation Lead to help our client implement an HCMS SaaS solution to replace the current system.

Project Overview

The new solution will provide various features and functionality, with a main focus on Core HR, Payroll, and integration to the WFM solution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a comprehensive project plan for delivery, including a detailed schedule and breakdown of responsibilities among project personnel.
  2. Evaluate resource allocation and ensure the right resources are available and allocated to tasks as needed.
  3. IDentify relationships, connections, and collaboration points between internal and external resources.
  4. Ensure seamless integration of the new system with other HR and financial systems.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test plans.
  6. Establish and oversee cutover plans.
  7. Implement hypercare and post-go live stabilization plans, ensuring they are resourced and in place.
  8. Perform regular go-live readiness assessments.
  9. Validate the change management strategy created through the Pre-transformation project.
  10. Manage project budget and review/update it as needed.
  11. Execute and monitor the implementation plan:
    1. Plan, execute, and distribute communications and other project-related information.
    2. Manage stakeholders' expectations and report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks, and other requested reporting requirements.
    3. Provide regular project progress/status reporting to sponsors, steering committee, and project stakeholders/groups.
    4. Escalate issues/changes out of the PM authority to sponsors/steering committee as required.
    5. Oversee and track defect resolution and reporting during testing periods.
    6. Liaise with the client's WFM and SI Project Managers to ensure alignment and communication of common direction and interrelated tasks and deliverables.
    7. Liaise with the Change Lead to ensure readiness assessment, communication (planning), resistance management, and training/new system adoption are considered.
    8. Document lessons learned, RACI, SLAs, and Knowledgebase Articles during project closure.

Requirements:

  1. 9+ years of experience in Project Management.
  2. Knowledge of HCMS, WFM systems, HR, and Payroll processes.
  3. Experience working with HCMS, WFM, and/or HR systems in cloud-based multi-tenant environments.
  4. Experience with Integration platforms.
  5. Experience implementing SaaS solutions.
  6. Healthcare experience preferred.
  7. Experience developing and executing project plans with complex data integrations.
  8. General knowledge of HR Information Systems and operations preferred.
  9. Experience in multi-collective agreement and complex labour relations environment preferred.
  10. Experience presenting to stakeholders and executives.
