Overview


Parsons Corporation is seeking a seasoned Project Planning and Scheduling Expert to join our Corporate team. This role plays a critical part in driving the future of the national security and critical infrastructure markets.



About the Role


We are looking for an exceptionally skilled professional to lead project planning and scheduling efforts across large infrastructure, heavy civil mega projects, or large metropolitan LRT projects. As a Project Planning and Scheduling Expert, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera P6, TILOS, or Microsoft Project.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date project schedules that align with overall project objectives
  • Conduct schedule analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules are aligned with overall project objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to planning and scheduling resources within the program while identifying potential risks or opportunities for improvement
  • Interface with program management on schedule-related issues including progress reporting, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
  • Accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting
  • Lead a staff qualified to analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline
  • Develop and manage an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keep project and company management fully informed
  • Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements
  • May function as Project Control Manager on a project, directing and controlling all project controls activities


Requirements



  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology, or a combination of equivalent skills and relevant field experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Proven track record leading a team to success
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in similar positions in planning large infrastructure, heavy civil mega projects, or large metropolitan LRT projects


Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience.
