About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing kitchen staff and meeting productivity goals.

  • Duties:
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that they meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, inventory levels, and labor expenses.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet quality standards and are presented attractively.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as an Executive Chef, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
