Project Engineering Manager

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in the success of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering personnel and project engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate engineering activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable permits.
- Lead and promote a safe work environment, adhering to Incident and Injury Free (IIF) standards.
- Prepare project work plans, work element plans, and JSAs to ensure timely completion and quality.
- Submit pay estimates and weekly Labor Variance and Cost Variance Reports to the client.
- Conduct critical path scheduling, baseline scheduling, and 3-week look ahead scheduling to ensure project progress.
- Coordinate project activities with the client and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor production and operations on assigned jobs to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Oversee contractor quality control reporting and maintain project files and organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related field.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Preferred certifications: First Aid/CPR, 30-hour OSHA, Fall Protection Competent Person, and Professional Engineer registration.
This position requires frequent travel, including visits to construction job sites. You must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and navigate stairs, ladders, and gangways. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
