Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team at Inflector Environmental Services GP Inc. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for leading the recovery efforts after natural disasters and environmental incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to disaster sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment to facilitate safe access to affected areas.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to repair damaged structures.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in demolishing buildings as needed.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to facilitate restoration efforts.
  • Collaborate with tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers to achieve project goals.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure a stable foundation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and reliability.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
