Job Summary
The Provincial Director of Private Partnership Development is a key leadership role at BC Housing, responsible for promoting the organization's role in creating new rental and ownership housing for middle-income households. The successful candidate will provide leadership to a team of professionals, coordinate project submissions, and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to promote BC Housing's role in private partnership development
- Provide leadership to a team of professionals and coordinate project submissions
- Evaluate and approve project designs, construction specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Identify opportunities for partnership development and drive negotiations to secure government approvals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in urban land economics, business administration, real estate development, or related field
- Extensive project management experience in developing multi-unit residential housing and mixed-use developments
- Excellent consultative, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and information to identify risks and develop business cases
