Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining our PostgreSQL-compatible database engine, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and aligns with our company's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop scalable database systems that can handle thousands of servers across multiple data centers
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and enhancements
* Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and Amazon's coding standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime

Requirements:

* 3+ years of professional software development experience
* 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
