At Canadian Systems Inc., we are seeking a skilled Database Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for designing and developing database systems, operating database management systems to analyze data, and developing and implementing data administration policy, standards, and models.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including proficiency in MS Access, networking security, servers, programming software, database software, programming languages, and data analysis software. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop database systems
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models
  • Collect and document user requirements

Requirements:
