Aversan Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing scheduling, administrative, and technical support to project teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to project teams, including scheduling, administrative, and technical tasks.
- Recognize and address problems, initiate action, and evaluate results on major issues prior to releasing drawings to the field.
- Work closely with Project Managers to provide technical support for their assigned series, including customer communications and needs.
- Perform risk assessments and support the job hazard analysis process, actively participating in and supporting HSE programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary project design deliverables and participate in quality reviews.
- Schedule resources for their portion of a project under the guidance of a Supervisor or Manager.
- Ensure work quality, safety, and reliability standards are met and maintained.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Occasional shift work and overtime hours, including weekend and backshift coverage may be required.
- Ensure scheduled milestones are met and notify the appropriate contacts if milestones are not met.
- Adhere to all program Operating and Implementing Policies.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fermi Solutions Inc. and client site Conduct Code.
- Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business.
- Education: Has successfully completed a University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS Office-based software; Primavera scheduling experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD required.
- Experience working on-site at a Nuclear facility, ideally within MCR.
- Knowledge of ECC process is an asset.
- Experience in a technical environment on large-scale engineering and construction projects, nuclear required.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Firm understanding of core engineering principles, documentation, and processes.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients.
- Scheduling knowledge is an asset.
