Job Title: Industrial Millwright/Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright/Electrician to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems in a high-speed packaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on high-speed packaging machines
  • Modify production equipment to suit production requirements
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings and training sessions as required
  • Available for occasional off-shift coverage and regular weekend overtime to carry out PMs
  • Report through a work order system daily all work performed on equipment including any follow-up work required
Requirements:
  • Industrial 433a/442a Certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in plastics and/or high-speed packaging manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Good understanding of the English language and following detailed instructions
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery safety standards
  • Knowledge and practice of emergency lockout on all equipment
