Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures.
  • Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
  • Replace faulty electrical components and position sensing devices.
  • Plan and install wiring and electrical apparatus in buildings.
Requirements:
  • Industrial Trade certification as Industrial Electrician and/or PLC certification.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PLC and programming experience.
  • Ability to create, manipulate, and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, and Panasonic.
  • Mig, Stick, and Tig welding.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals and principles.
  • Certification in one or more robot programming courses (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic).
  • Experience with Labview is an asset.
  • Experience with troubleshooting robots.
  • Overhead crane license.
  • Forklift license.
  • Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience.
