Facility Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical health services and facility operations for a site/local geographical area within the region.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare leadership, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a patient/resident/client care setting. A post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited post-secondary education institution is required, and an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership capabilities, with the ability to foster interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships to ensure a high standard of patient care. They will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to ensure strong communication pathways between onsite staff, scheduling, and managers.
Responsibilities will include ensuring the availability of staff based on sick calls and required short-term scheduling impacts to maintain safe operation of clinical services, supporting implementation and change initiatives, and managing emergency situations that arise.
