We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for providing expert cost estimating and planning services to our clients in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Estimating: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for various real estate projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential developments.
- Cost Planning: Develop and manage cost plans for projects, ensuring that they are aligned with the client's budget and requirements.
- Cost Management: Oversee the cost management process, including cost analysis, cost checking, and valuation work.
- Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering exercises to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Communication: Interface with clients and other stakeholders to provide cost management advice and support.
- Experience: 7 years of experience in MEP estimating, preferably in the real estate sector.
- Education: A recognized university degree in construction or a related field.
- Certifications: Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., RICS, CIQS, AACEI) and certification or designation from a professional organization (e.g., MRICS, PQS, CCP) is an asset.
