Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced analytics tools and methodologies to drive business value.
- Analyze performance data to refine underwriting strategies and collaborate with stakeholders for actionable outcomes.
- Conduct pricing reviews across various business lines, including developing rate projections, analyzing loss ratios, and performing competitive evaluations.
- Research and implement cutting-edge analytics tools and methodologies to drive business value.
- Effectively utilize the organization's policy administration and claims systems, along with their underlying data structures.
- Collaborate with regulators to submit and complete mandatory filings.
- Design, refine, and improve analytical tools for data summary and distribution.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the company's data marts for all business lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Completion of 4 to 6 exams from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an actuarial or data analysis role, ideally within the P&C insurance sector or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Emblem software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of P&C pricing and ratemaking principles.
