Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Rock-it Concrete Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Tamp concrete using electric vibrator
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Measure lumber to ensure specified thickness, length and width
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be physically demanding.
Requirements:- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and gloves required
English
Work Hours:40 to 50 hours per week
