We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Tractor Trailer Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our warehouse and transportation network.
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods, and oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
- Packaging and Inventory Management: Pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment and Machinery Operations: Operate industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts safely and efficiently.
- Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, including lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Health and Financial Benefits: We offer dental and health care plans, group insurance benefits, and a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment duration.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
