Job Title: Landscaping Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced landscaping team leader to join our team at Strand Properties Corporation. As a key member of our outdoor construction team, you will oversee the planning and execution of various landscaping projects.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of horticulture principles, and experience in managing teams.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field;

You will also require physical stamina and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation would be assets.

Responsibilities:

The landscaping team leader will be responsible for:

  • Plan and estimate labour and materials needed for projects;
  • Organize and direct construction activities on-site;
  • Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as necessary;
  • Establish clear work schedules and procedures;
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers;
  • Perform tasks alongside the team as required;
Work Environment:

This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including physically demanding environments. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000-$72,000, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances.
