Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Pizza Cut. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
