Food Service Team Lead

At Tim Hortons, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that food and service meet our high expectations
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- 3-4 people in the supervision team
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
