Key Responsibilities- Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metalworking.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
