Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher (PT) Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to join our team at Coast Hotels. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

**Responsibilities**

* Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to Coast Hotels' high standards of quality and safety
* Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and other tasks as required
* Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring it is in good working order
* Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including guests and fellow team members
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during peak periods

**Requirements**

* Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
* FoodSafe certification or equivalent is a must
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
* Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Ability to take direction and follow instructions accurately
* Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
