Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Oerlikon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing production orders for assigned product families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet quality, quantity, and delivery date targets.
- Collaborate with plant operators to ensure production orders are executed correctly and respond to questions and concerns raised on the plant floor.
- Identify and troubleshoot operating problems and suggest corrective actions to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain data integrity in SAP and other company information systems and ensure optimal work-in-process inventory levels.
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Responsible for special assignments as needed by the Operations Team.
Requirements:
- University degree or technical diploma with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SAP training in MM/PP.
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with good prioritization and problem-solving skills.
