We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Quality Manager to join our team at Forvis Mazars, Canada. As a Risk and Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risks and quality across our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on risk management best practices.
  • Monitoring and reporting on risk management performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in business, finance, risk, or sustainability related field.
  • Professional certification in risk or sustainability is considered an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services or management consulting, with a focus on risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize potential risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
