Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Richardson Milling, the largest industrial oat miller in the world. As a Millwright, you will play a critical role in providing maintenance support to maximize production and supply quality product to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Design and fabricate parts to modify equipment as needed
  • Conduct steam trap analysis and repair steam-related equipment
  • Maintain and update schematics after work completion
  • Enforce plant safety and food safety standards
  • Investigate mechanical and operational problems and communicate findings to management

Requirements

  • Journeyman Red Seal Millwright certificate required
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Strong computer, math, electrical, welding, plumbing, and pipe fitting skills
  • Ability to perform work orders, unscheduled maintenance, and task forms with documentation
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule and overtime as needed
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and stack 50 lbs
