About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at STYLOVATION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring seamless joints and seams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Compound Application: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Ceiling Grid Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
