About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at STYLOVATION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring seamless joints and seams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Compound Application: Apply successive coats of compound to seams and joints, sanding to a high finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Ceiling Grid Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Workload and Physical Demands: This role requires a large workload and is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
  • Work Schedule: The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
