Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Poultry Farm Worker for a part-time position.

Job Details:

  • Work schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Starting hourly wage: $18
  • Location: 1770 5th Range N, Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, QC
Your Role:

Under the supervision of the farm supervisor, you will be responsible for tasks related to bird care and poultry house maintenance:

  • Sorting, cleaning, packaging, and transporting eggs
  • Maintaining a clean environment
  • Caring for birds and feeding them
  • Collecting dead or unhealthy birds
  • Conducting visual and technical checks on equipment, installations, and living environments, and reporting any issues to the responsible parties
  • Verifying water quality and monitoring water and feed consumption
  • Keeping a daily production log
  • Performing tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures, and contributing to their improvement
  • Completing any other tasks related to farm operations
