Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor work between technicians, redirecting or realigning tasks as needed.
  • Assist the service manager in daily planning and scheduling of technicians' work.
  • Provide guidance and training to interns, apprentices, or technicians in repairs and maintenance.
  • Track warranty repairs and ensure sufficient comments are written on work orders.
  • Review work orders and ensure proper completion, releasing equipment for inspection or delivery.
  • Ensure technicians meet performance targets and complete work within timeframe.
  • Offer internal and external training when necessary.
  • Communicate with clients, resolving issues in collaboration with the service manager.
  • Collaborate with the service manager on performance assessments and preparation meetings.

Requirements:

  • Class A Mechanic competency card with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Vocational diploma in mechanics, with experience in construction machines, agricultural equipment, or heavy machinery.
  • 5+ years of experience as a workshop technician or foreman.
  • Passion for agriculture, business, or the industrial field.
  • Ability to transmit knowledge, be organized, patient, and have manual dexterity.
