General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled General Counsel to join our SME team at ZSA Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to our client, a well-known multinational company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate background and be able to wear both a business and legal hat. You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for assisting with all legal matters, including building out a legal team and managing the company's portfolio.

This is a true generalist role, requiring a strong understanding of corporate law and the ability to think strategically. If you are a motivated and experienced legal professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance and support to the CEO and other senior executives
  • Build and manage a legal team to support the company's growth and development
  • Assist with the management of the company's portfolio, including family office, real estate holdings, manufacturing, and construction
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support the company's business objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong corporate background and experience in a similar role
  • Ability to wear both a business and legal hat
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
