We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at the Bayside Oceanfront Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining cuisine and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for planning menus, managing inventory, and supervising a team of cooks to ensure that all meals are prepared to a high standard.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $55,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that showcase the resort's commitment to quality and excellence
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and supply ordering
- Supervise a team of cooks to ensure that all meals are prepared to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work closely with the resort's events team to provide catering services for special events
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of fine dining cuisine and menu planning
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
