Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at HardRock Sewers & Watermain Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional service to customers, including arranging travel, making reservations, and loading/unloading goods.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, including AZ class license requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English; ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work Environment and Setting: Various locations; dusty work site environment.
