About the Job

This role requires a self-motivated, energetic, and passionate team player who will manage a territory for a national retail account. The primary responsibilities include driving sales, servicing stores, developing relationships with store managers and department associates, and maintaining knowledge of store operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management in-store to target new and existing Pro Contractor business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure job lot quantities are available on shelves.
  • Develop strong relationships with Pro Desk and lumber department teams.
  • Work closely with HD team members to build a strong relationship and drive business growth.
  • Communicate shipments directly with Pro teams and contractors.
  • Educate Pro Contractors on all products and programs available in the market.
  • Maintain store displays, literature, and signage to Stella-Jones and Home Depot standards.
  • Facilitate returns of defective or incorrectly shipped products.
  • Verify shipping and receiving issues at stores to ensure proper invoicing by Stella-Jones and payment by Home Depot.
  • Provide ongoing product knowledge training to Home Depot associates prior to season starts or throughout the year.
  • Process warranty claims and conduct site inspections as needed.
  • Participate in Home Depot events and shows, including PK and demos for customers and associates.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Clean Driver's License abstract.
  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills, intermediate level.
  • Lumber and building product knowledge, an asset.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location.
