Commercial Sales and Relationship Manager

Kal Tire is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales and Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and building strong relationships with medium commercial customers.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in inside sales management and customer analysis. You will have a deep understanding of consultative selling processes and be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers. Your ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations will be highly valued as well as your capacity to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Maintenance of Regional Accounts:
- Manage Kal Tire's relationships with medium commercial customers and ensure profitable growth, exceptional service, competitive differentiation, and vertically integrated relationships.
- Act as the overall 'relationship manager' within medium accounts, ensuring we meet expectations, deliver ongoing value, and communicate the benefits of partnering with Kal Tire.
- Utilize sales tools available at Kal Tire to analyze account issues and design programs to address client needs.
- Track program results, report back on success to clients, and proactively deal with issues.
Business Development:
- Assist in the development of lead generation processes and customer sales service levels within the region, assisting the RSM in assessment and evaluation of all leads identified.
- Provide quotes for products and services that meet client needs.
- Continuously prospect for new business and accounts utilizing leads identified in the region.
- Propose Kal Tire's services to new customers based on the criteria of each sales service standard.
Sales Collaboration:
- Share information related to market trends and supplier activities.
- Prepare and send monthly reports to Senior Vice President Sales, local Senior Zone Manager, and Director of Stores.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Store Managers, Retread Managers, Salespeople, Business Development Managers, Zone Managers, and Senior Zone Managers to ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience working at Kal Tire or at least 5 years inside sales or field sales experience in a related B2B industry.
- Proven track record in inside sales management and customer analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in sales management and coaching.
- Experience with business analysis and customer reporting.
- Proven record/knowledge of consultative selling process.
Benefits
The target compensation for this role is $43,900 to $54,900 per year based on experience, plus up to $20,000 annual variable pay based on performance.
