Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at CANADIAN TIRE STORE 119. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are meeting sales targets.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that products are easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The Retail Store Manager will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
