Job Description:
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and treatment planning in the clinical practice area of Tertiary Mental Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive psychological assessment services utilizing standardized and evidence-based interview and assessment procedures.
- Incorporates psychological assessment results with the broader treatment plan.
- Delivers evidence-based individual short-term therapy/counseling interventions.
- Participates in client/patient conferences and team meetings as required.
- Supports an interdisciplinary approach to client/patient care.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (or eligible for registration).
- Five years recent related experience in clinical psychology in the assigned clinical practice area(s).
