About This Opportunity:
Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Substance Use Outreach Clinician to join our team at Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a health science discipline from a recognized program.
- Two (2) years' recent experience in community-based or Indigenous-led organizations working with individuals with substance use and mental health presentations.
- Valid B.C. driver's license.
