Job Description:
This full-time clinical psychologist position involves providing psychological assessment and treatment services to military members at the medical clinic located at CFSU Ottawa adjacent to the Montfort Hospital. The clinic provides multi-disciplinary healthcare to serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, making this a unique opportunity to work in a specialty setting.

The successful candidate will have an interest in treating operational trauma and occupational health, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who serve our country. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct psycho-diagnostic assessments with adults, including differential diagnosis
2. Provide professional services related to the diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of psychological disorders with adults
3. Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results, preparing comprehensive psychological evaluations
4. Report findings to the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to collaborative care planning
5. Deliver evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions, utilizing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapies
6. Participate in case reviews, contributing to best practices in mental health care
7. Develop, instruct, and counsel sessions for specific mental illnesses, enhancing knowledge and skills among colleagues
8. Assist in identifying, developing, and evolving mental health programming initiatives
9. Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association
2. Be registered as a Psychologist and authorized for autonomous practice with the appropriate provincial licensing body
3. Possess 2 years of full-time, post-graduate experience under a license for autonomous practice, completing psycho-diagnostic assessments and providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses

Requirements:
1. Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
2. Current certification or willingness to obtain CPR Level C with AED
