Job Title: Facilities Asset Management Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Asset Management Planner to join our team at the City of Coquitlam. As a key member of our Parks, Recreation, Culture & Facilities department, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules and budgets.
  • Use data to determine if repairs or replacements are required throughout various City facilities, while ensuring compliance with building bylaws, codes and regulations.
  • Act as the Project Manager of an array of asset management, facility maintenance and capital projects.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets concerning the City's buildings and necessary equipment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Building Systems Technology or a related field, plus at least 3 years of related experience in asset management of facilities.
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.
  • Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia is required.
