About the Role

We are currently hiring for a Regular Full Time employee to join our rapidly growing Facilities division, within the greater Parks, Recreation, Culture & Facilities department. As the Facilities Asset Management Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and develop City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules and budgets
  • Use data to determine if repairs or replacements are required throughout various City facilities, while ensuring compliance with building bylaws, codes and regulations
  • Act as the Project Manager of an array of asset management, facility maintenance and capital projects
  • Prepare and oversee budgets concerning the City's buildings and necessary equipment
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Diploma in Building Systems Technology or a related field, plus at least 3 years of related experience in asset management of facilities. An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered. A Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia is required.
